The Outdoor Centre

It is our pleasure to welcome you to Camp Couchiching’s Outdoor Centre! Whether it is your first time visiting us or you are a returning group, we hope that you feel like a part of the Camp Couchiching community.

Camp Couchiching has been providing quality outdoor education programs for over 35 years. Our focus blends experiential based education components with a healthy dose of creativity. We look forward to providing your group with activities and programs that will challenge, excite and engage your group.

We welcome groups to our Outdoor Centre in May, June, September and October. Since our campsite isn't winterized it will be closed from November to April. In the months of July and August, we operate our own Summer Overnight and Day camps so we're not available for bookings during those months.

Mid-Week Programming in May, June, September, October

For the 2023 season camp OELC (Ontario Educational Leadership Centre) will be hosting all overnight school programs at Camp Couchiching for May, June and September. OELC has been leading intermediate and secondary leadership programs for the past 75 years for thousands of students across Ontario.

All of these programs will be taking place at our location, and we at Camp Couchiching, are excited that OELC is partnering with us to ensure that schools have access to proven youth leadership programs.

All OELC programs are led by experienced educators and facilitators. For students who have been to Couchiching for past programs, and for new students, OELC will be a new and exciting experience that we are proud to support as part of our philosophy to provide the highest quality programs in youth leadership.

OELC fosters an inclusive environment that supports students while challenging them to take productive risks and try new things. Our programs invest in the individual experience of every student. This investment is the starting point for all our programs
