Family Camp Weekend on Labour Day

Dates:

  • Saturday August 31 to Monday September 2

Rates:

  • $550/family of 4 (at least one person must be 18 years of age or older) + tax
  • Additional family members aged 2 & older are $80/person + tax

Join us for a great way to end your summer vacation and get ready to launch back to school!

Each family group gets a camp cabin to themselves! Each family can group up to 8 people per cabin, even though the cabins can often hold more people due to our Summer Camp demands, before they have to book a 2nd cabin. You need one adult for every 3 people under the age of 18 at camp at all times (meaning if you hit that ratio then the other person can go and explore the local area if they wish) and each family group can have a maximum of 2 youth under 2 years of age. Family Camp is great for inter-generational gatherings so bring the grandparents and the kids!

Cabins have sinks & toilets in them and the Shower House is nearby. Look at our facility pages on this website for how nice things are!

Choose from fun full family programming such as Beach Volleyball, Arts & Crafts, Sand Castles, Kayaking, Archery, High Ropes, Yoga. There are some adult programs such as art, hiking, candleit walks and some children's programs at our Kid's Club. You are also very welcome to choose to do nothing...OR everything! It's your vacation. You choose.

Arrive at noon on Saturday afternoon and you'll be able to move into your cabins. You can drive your car to your cabin to unload and then parking will be available down at our dining hall.

Lunch will begin at 12:30 and ends at 1:30 so you are welcome to drop in an help yourselves between those times.

We'll do a quick get to know you/go over the weekend at 1:30 in Artaban (our dining hall) and then the fun will begin from there!

Dietary restrictions can be accommodated just let us know ahead of time the what's and how's.

We are a child-centred community so that is first and foremost however if you are planning to bring alcohol to enjoy leisurely, you may do so, however we do not have coolers or fridges available for storage and encourage you to bring your own coolers and ice. We also have a strict no drinks on the docks policy and our staff will reserve the right to ask individuals not to participate in certain activities due to intoxication. No alcoholic beverages will be provided by camp.

 Things to consider bringing:

  • Shorts and t-shirts
  • Longs and Longs (camp "lingo" for pants and long sleeves)
  • Sun protection (sunscreen, hat, etc)
