UPDATES FROM CAMP

November 2024

  • Overnight Camp applications will be available by November 7. Returning families watch your in-boxes.

  • Thanks for Octopus Books to host our fundraiser of Jen Ball's book, "Sticks, Stones & Pinecones. Games to Play in Nature" during November. Shipping will occur in time for holiday gift giving.

  • Giving Tuesday is launched! We're asking for things from our wish lists. It's expensive to operate a Camp so every little bit helps.

October 2024

  • Thanks to the 100 people who volunteered and were employed by the Camp to make 2024 a best year ever!

  • Thanks to our many weekend groups and OELC for making our busy fall more fun!​

September 2024

  • Thanks to the many families who joined us at Camp this summer! We had great experiences!

  • We will be running PA Day Camps and a March Break Day Camp this year!

  • Camp is wrapping up in late October then we'll open up Overnight Camp applications in early November.

  • Staff applications will be available in mid-November.

June 2024

  • Greetings from Maria Reinhart, RN, our new Camp Director!

  • Overnight Families should have received an email with the Family Information Package which includes when to arrive, when your departure is, what to pack (and what not to pack) & a request to log into our database to update your Health Forms.

  • Day Camp Families will receive an email with their Family Information Package as well

  • There are still some spaces in Overnight Camp programs. Day Camp programs are sold out.

May 2024

  • We're excited to announce Maria Reinhart as our Camp Director!

  • Clothing and merch deadline is June 2. Order on-line through Portage Promotionals. Items purchased will be given out the final day of Camp.

February 2024

  • Overnight Camp rates increase on March 1!

  • Day Camp applications are now being accepted.

  • Returning Overnight Camp Families! Please check your email for details for online applications opening & the opportunity to provide feedback from this past summer.

  • New Overnight Camp Families! Watch our Instagram account, @campcouchiching, for our official public announcement.

  • Summer Day Camp Families! We will open up our applications for this program in mid February.
